    how-argue-better-in-relationship
It is normal for couples to argue or disagree, but when arguments become intense, verbally agressive, increase in frequency and are unresolved, then it's time to do something about it.
Research shows that children exposed to this type of conflict between parents are more likely to have emotional and behavioural difficulties (e.g. depression or anger, trouble getting on with others, problems settling and achieving at school, sleep difficulties and poor physical health).
What will I get out of this course?
    This course will help you:
    • stop your arguments from getting worse and sort out your issues.
    • improve your skills to STOP, TALK IT OUT and WORK IT OUT
    • make sure your arguments are not harmful to your children.
    What does the course involve?
You will be shown 3 different families. Each family is dealing with a typical situation that often causes arguments. For each family you will see a series of short clips showing what happens when the argument escalates and gets hostile,as well as the same scenario but demonstrating some simple skills that can be used to handle the situation better. The couple are also shown talking about how they feel.
To get the best out of this course, you are encouraged to practice using these skills in your situation.
    How long will it take?
Each scenario and learning about the skills used will take about 20 minutes for each family. You don't have to do the whole course in one go, you can stop at any time and come back and start where you left off.
Good luck and we hope that you find this course useful.
